Do It For the Story

Looking for praise-worthy soundtracks? Discover the moment all music supervisors dream of-- the moment a movie-goer is overcome with emotion due to the synchronicity of a song and a scene that, individually, would evoke a far less intense reaction. Here's my pick for the week:

Although unorthodox, Where the Wild Things Are proves that a successful musical compilation can consist of all original songs by a single artist, Karen O and the Kids.

  1. Nice job Kit I didn't know you were a "blogger." Did you see this flick? I love it but mostly due to nastalgia more than anything. I like the song used in the previews better the re done version of "wake-up" by Arcade Firs and was pissed it wasn't in the movie. But that being said the soundtrack fit the beauty of new zealand. Keep it up pooks.
